In industries such as oil & gas, petrochemical, construction, and water supply, the surface preparation of pipes is a crucial step before coating, painting, or lining. Steel internal and external shot blasting machine is an automatic granite engraving machine for surface profiling and removing rust and mill scale from welded steel pipe or rods. The pipe must be cleaned and dust-free prior to the coating process. The machines are provided with blast cabinets, loading, and unloading pipe systems. The pipe is kept on the inward side of the skew conveyor for rotating and forward movement of the pipe to expose its all surface to the blast stream are the basic constituents of a pipe/rod blasting machine.

The pipe/rod blasting Machine also has a media recovery system similar to that of plate/ structural blasting systems and includes a shot recovery system consisting of a screw conveyor, bucket elevator, rotary screen separator, and an air wash and dust collection system that work collectively to eliminate contaminants and fines, Control dust and maintain correct abrasive size in the blasting mix.

Internal External Shot Blasting Machine

The Internal External Shot Blasting Machine is a pneumatic machine used for cleaning the inside diameter of the pipe. Internal pipe shot blasting machine is available in different sizes according to the requirement and the size of the pipe diameter. The internal pipe shot blasting machine is easy to operate, and in this process no requirement to rotate heavy pipes. This machine is coupled with a portable shot blasting machine via a blasting hose. An internal pipe shot blasting machine was inserted into the pipe, and it carried two lightweight nozzles of boron carbide. Boron carbide is lightweight and has a good life too.

Due to its lightweight, it is easy for the operator to perform the blasting operation. The internal external shot blasting machine is pushed manually from one end to the other in a hollow pipe.  This eliminates the old paint, rust, and scale from the hollow pipe. The machine head with the sand blasting nozzle rotates 360 degrees at high pressure to clean the pipe. The continuous operating rate depends on the portable blasting machine and the compressor used in the process.

AIRO IRBT- 197A is designed to blast clean pipe ranging in size from 50 mm to 200 mm I.D. The machine is connected to the portable sand blasting machine via a blast hose as the process starts nozzle directs the air and abrasive mixture at a deflection tip. The tip causes the blasting process to fan out in a wide and circular pattern and clean the inside of the pipe as it passes. To hold the machine throughout the process, two centric equipment are used. This is a very small-sized pipe ID cleaning Machine.

  • AIRO IRBT - 197B       

AIRO IRBT- 197B is designed to blast clean pipe ranging in size from 200 mm to 600 mm I.D. The machine is connected to the portable blasting machine via a blast hose. As the machine passes through the length of the pipe being cleaned and blasting media is ejected by two boron carbide nozzles.  Blasting media is ejected in circular patterns, and centric devices are used to hold the machine throughout the process. This is a small-sized pipe ID cleaning Machine.

AIRO IRBT- 197C is designed to blast clean pipe ranging in size from 600 mm to 900 mm I.D. The ejection of the blasting media machine is connected to the portable blasting via a sand blast hose. As the machine moves throughout the length pipe being cleaned as blasting media is ejected by two boron carbide nozzles.  Blasting media is ejected in a circular pattern, and a wheel is used to move the machine inside the hollow pipe. These wheels also hold the machine inside the pipe. This is a medium-sized pipe ID cleaning Machine.

  • AIRO IRBT - 197D       

AIRO IRBT- 197D is designed to blast clean pipe ranging in size from 900 mm to 1500 mm I.D. For cleaning machine is connected with a portable blasting machine and ejects the blasting media in a circular pattern through a boron carbide nozzle. As the machine moved from one end to the other, cleaning inside the hollow pie was done. To hold the machine inside hollow pipe-centric devices and wheels are used. This is a large-sized pipe ID cleaning Machine.
